Reanna Navarro, a Stanislaus County native, graduated with a double major in Graphic Design and Applied Design with an emphasis in Ceramics from San Diego State University. More than just a practice in form and aesthetics, her work is a dialogue—an exploration of mental health, self-discovery, and emotional expression through tactile and visual storytelling.
Drawing inspiration from the ocean’s vast, unpredictable nature, Reanna intertwines human emotion with organic forms to create deeply personal yet universally resonant pieces. Her sculptures and ceramic works merge human figures with coral formations, waves, and other natural elements, embodying the fluidity of trauma, resilience, and healing. Through the interplay of abstraction and realism, she invites viewers into a space where vulnerability and strength coexist, using art as a means to foster connection, introspection, and conversation about the complexities of the human experience.
